Fathoming is a celebratory gathering of custodial kinship held in a good way.
Come As You Are
Fathoming invites you to be here with your authentic presence. Bring something small, like a shell or seed to place on the ground.
Playday for all ages
Bring a picnic plate and come play with clay, fibre weaving and storytelling. Soups, scones and salad bowls from 5pm.
The Fathoming
Enter the hall from 2pm, doors close from 2:30–4:30pm for the Synchrony Fathoming Set. Elixir Bar from 6pm, bring a non-glass vessel. The Mirage Effect local jam from 8pm.
The Afterglow
Camp-out overnight or come back the next day to attend the Afterglow: sound bath meditation and Lit Levels journaling for fathoming with Even Dawn.
Come as you are.
The Fathoming is intentionally held to provide a collective gathering with time and space to witness, process and express their personal depths.
Bring your ancestors with you, and leave your shoes at the door. This won’t be a journey to guide you toward any one destination. Whether it feels personal or collective, what you fathom is at the fulcrum point of your own perception.

Hey there area crew, I’m Dawnie and it will be me and lots of other locals who are putting on the Fathoming.
I live on Ngarakwal-Midginbil Jagun and work on Widjabul-Wyabul Jagun. The first fathoming is being held on Guli-bul Jagun at Hanging Rock Hall.
